To successfully complete the Foundation in Business, students must receive a minimum passing grade of 40% for all 8 modules.
Acquiring English competencies will help learners to succeed anywhere in the world. It promotes the study of language conventions by introducing critical reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills to improve academic language and develop both academic and business vocabulary.
The Essentials of Computing provide learners with a solid introduction to information technology, information systems, and computing. It supports to develop independent learning skills to manage research in the lab and field contexts.
Business Management Principles includes fundamental principles, practices, and issues associated with the management of business organizations. It centers on how managers can deal with the multiple demands of complex and turbulent environments, promote and sustain competitive advantage, manage to change social, political, and technological factors, ensure ethical and social responsibility, develop global organizations, and manage diversity in the workforce.
Introduction to Economics centers on market demand, market supply, consumer behavior, economic growth, unemployment, aggregation, general equilibrium, price and inflation, business cycles, and international trade by covering both microeconomics and macroeconomics. Learn will examine the basics and foundation of the global economy and how international trade and economies work at a basic level.
Effective communication management at both individual and organizational levels is essential in business and professional contexts. It facilitates understanding of how people manage their communication processes, considers 'best practice" for successful organizational communication, and provides opportunities for communication skills development and enhancement.
Mathematics for Business is designed to introduce the basic mathematical skills needed to understand, analyze, and solve mathematical problems encountered in business decision-making. It promotes skills on arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with ease, and to have some familiarity with fractions, algebraic operations, and basic mathematical principles.
Principles of Marketing includes changing global marketplace, marketing processes and planning, the use of market research, an understanding of consumers and customers, decision-making and the marketing mix, market segmentation, positioning, and product differentiation. Allowing further study across the broad spectrum of product, service, consumer, business-to-business, industrial global, and social marketing.
Introduction to Accounting includes double entry bookkeeping, costing, budgeting, and financial accounts preparation. It provides technical skills and problem-solving abilities to solve business problems.
