The Deakin 1+2 pathway programme offered at Lyceum Campus, provides students a seamless transition into the 2nd year of several bachelors degrees at Deakin University, Australia in the area of Business, Commerce, Business Analytics and Sport Management upon completion of the diploma at Lyceum Campus.

Yes. Lyceum Campus is Sri Lanka's exclusive licensed Business curriculum partner of Deakin University. No other institution in Sri Lanka is authorised to offer the Deakin 1+2 Pathway Programme. This means students who want to start a Deakin degree in Sri Lanka and transfer to Australia have only one option: Lyceum Campus.

The programme follows a 1+2 structure. Students spend Year 1 at Lyceum Campus in Sri Lanka, then Years 2 and 3 at Deakin University in Australia, completing their full bachelor's degree in three years total. Year 1 at Lyceum Campus is one of the four diploma programmes available under the pathway.

Lyceum Campus offers four diploma programmes under the Deakin 1+2 Pathway: Diploma of Business in Business Analytics, Diploma of Business in Management, Diploma of Business in Commerce, and Diploma of Business in Sport Management.

Upon successful completion of the diploma at Lyceum Campus, students can progress into Year 2 of the following Deakin University degrees: Bachelor of Business Analytics, Bachelor of Business with 9 specialisations, Bachelor of Commerce with 8 specialisations, and Bachelor of Business in Sport Management.

The academic entry requirements are: GCE A/L — 3 passes; Cambridge A/Level — 3 D passes; Edexcel A/Level — 06 points. An English language proficiency requirement also applies, with a minimum of C grade at O/Level English (or 4 points for Edexcel).

There are three intakes per year: March, July, and September. Having three annual intakes gives students more flexibility than most degree pathways, and means there is a maximum wait of four months between intakes at any given time.

Yes. Deakin University is one of Australia's largest universities and has consistently been among the most popular Australian universities for Sri Lankan students over the past decade. The Deakin Business School holds both AACSB and EQUIS accreditation, placing it in the top 1% of business schools globally and among only 150 business schools worldwide to hold both accreditations simultaneously.

Yes. Merit-based scholarships of up to 50% off Year 1 tuition are available based on A/Level results. Students with 3 A grades receive 50% off, those with 2 A grades receive 30% off, and those with 1 A grade receive 20% off. A Leadership Scholarship of 20% and a Lyceum International School Bursary of 15% are also available. All scholarships are discounted from the total tuition fee. Conditions apply.

Completing Year 1 at Lyceum Campus in Sri Lanka costs significantly less than studying the same year at Deakin University in Australia. Students save on tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses for Year 1 while still earning a qualification that counts directly towards their Deakin degree. This makes the Deakin 1+2 Pathway one of the most cost-efficient ways for a Sri Lankan student to earn an Australian university degree.

Access to DeakinTalent is available to students from enrolment.

The Deakin 1+2 Pathway diploma is specifically designed to align with Deakin University's Year 1 curriculum and includes a guaranteed transfer into Year 2 of a Deakin bachelor's degree on successful completion. A regular BTEC HND is a standalone UK qualification that may allow degree top-up but does not have a guaranteed transfer agreement with a specific Australian university
