Department of Allied Health Sciences
The Department of Allied Health Sciences at Lyceum Campus serves as a dynamic academic unit within the Faculty of Medical Sciences, focused on delivering high-quality, competency-based healthcare education aligned with national standards and industry requirements. The Department integrates academic excellence with practical training to ensure graduates are professionally prepared to meet the demands of modern healthcare systems.
The Department will initially offer the Higher Diploma in Nursing (NVQ Level 6),
designed to equip students with comprehensive clinical competencies, ethical practice
standards, and professional
confidence required in real-world healthcare environments. In line with the Faculty’s
long-term vision, the Department plans to progressively expand its academic portfolio to
include programmes in
Pharmacology and other allied health disciplines, creating broader pathways for
healthcare education and career advancement.
Through a strong emphasis on quality, professional integrity, and industry alignment,
the Department aims to produce graduates who meet both national regulatory standards and
global healthcare expectations.
