Developed in partnership with the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, these two pathways let students complete most of their studies in Sri Lanka before progressing to a BA (Hons) in Early Years / Early Childhood Education at UWE Bristol, choosing between a 2+1 route via the Pearson BTEC HND in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a 1+2 route via the Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education (NVQ Level 4 equivalent).
What are the UWE Pathway Programmes?
Lyceum Campus understands the importance of a solid educational foundation in early childhood education. In collaboration with the University of the West of England, Bristol, we offer two structured pathways into a BA (Hons) degree, equipping students with the knowledge, practical skills, and qualifications needed to thrive in the field and build a successful career shaping the future of young minds.
Both pathways combine local, practically-focused study at Lyceum Campus with a guaranteed progression route to UWE Bristol, the difference is how much of the journey happens in Sri Lanka versus the UK, and the entry-level qualification each route builds on. Prospective students choose the pathway that best matches their academic starting point, budget, and how soon they want to move to the UK to study.
