Mr. Rajitha Fernando

I have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Birmingham City, United Kingdom. English Diploma holder from the Aquinas College and CIM(UK) and CELTA(UK) qualified. I am partly qualified in ACCA(UK) and AAT(SL). In keeping with my qualifications in different areas, I possess the ability to teach an array of modules/subjects such as Accounting, English, Marketing, Management and Economics. I have held the Assistant Sectional Head and the Sectional Head roles at St. Peter’s College and currently holding the Head of Department role at the Lyceum Campus. I am a teacher trainer for TKT(UK). In addition, I have held the role of Fund Administrator at HSBC and worked as the Front Office Executive at the Living Adventure, in Qatar. I have engaged in developing curricula for the Lyceum Campus, Royal Institute and Next Campus. My research interests are towards Leadership, Management and Teaching Innovation. I have delivered high quality teaching across undergraduate and foundation-level programs and have consistently achieved positive student feedback for teaching effectiveness, clarity, and support. Next step in my career life is to start my PhD.
