Ms. Poojani Wijerama is a lecturer with multidisciplinary expertise in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, and Sustainability. She is currently pursuing an MSc. in Waste Management and Circular Economy at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and holds a Master of Human Resource Management from the University of Colombo. She also earned a BSc. in International Transport Management and Logistics from CINEC Campus, affiliated with Dalian Maritime University, China.
With nearly five years of experience in higher education, Ms. Wijerama has taught a range of undergraduate modules in logistics, transport, management, and related business disciplines. She currently serves as a Lecturer at Lyceum Campus, where she is committed to creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences that bridge academic knowledge with industry practice.
Ms. Wijerama has contributed to Logistics Sinhalen, the first logistics textbook written in Sinhala, and has presented research on women's participation in Sri Lanka's logistics industry. Her research interests include Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, Waste Management, Circular Economy, and Sustainable Business Practices.
Passionate about innovation in higher education, Ms. Wijerama believes in empowering students with critical thinking, practical skills, and ethical leadership to excel in a rapidly evolving business environment. She aspires to pursue a PhD and contribute to impactful research and academic excellence.
