Ms. Thenuja Sivabalachandran is a business academic with expertise in Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Research, and Business Consulting. She holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of the West of England, Bristol, and a BBA (Hons) in Accounting with First Class Honours from the University of Colombo. She is also an ACCA Affiliate.
With over five years of experience in higher education and industry, Ms. Thenuja has experience in lecturing, student mentoring, research supervision, programme management, curriculum development, and business consulting. She currently serves as a Lecturer at Lyceum Campus, where she is committed to creating engaging, student-centred learning experiences that connect academic knowledge with practical business applications.
Her industry and academic experience includes strategic analysis, business research, management accounting, stakeholder engagement, and business development. She is an active researcher with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research and has presented her research at academic conferences, with research published by Emerald Publishing. She is passionate about developing students' critical thinking, practical skills, and research capabilities while contributing to academic excellence and impactful research.
