I am a Lecturer in Mathematics and Analytics with a Bachelor of Science from the Open University of Sri Lanka (2021) in Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Physics and a National Diploma in Teaching from the National Colleges of Education, Sri Lanka. I am currently reading for an MBA in Business Analytics from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
I teach Business Analytics and Managing Information in the Digital Age under the Deakin Pathway Programme, as well as Mathematics I, Mathematics II, and have taught Understanding Organisations, and Introduction to Mathematics across foundation and education programmes at Lyceum Campus. My teaching focuses on practical, activity-based learning using quantitative and digital tools.
My contributions include curriculum delivery aligned with international pathway standards, assessment development, examination paper development and moderation, examination and scrutiny board activities, and module coordination. I have supported institutional development through curriculum development for new programmes.
My research interests include Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Data-Driven Decision-Making in Education and Business.
